Lenny, a local fireman, visited Year 5 on Monday 13th June to talk about Fire Safety. We learnt how best to protect our homes, including closing all doors at night and testing our smoke alarms regularly. We used all of the information to design posters highlighting the importance of preventing fires. Keep your eyes peeled for them around school to pick up some tips on how to stay safe.
We had a great time with Lenny, he even let us try on his uniform!
