On Tuesday 5th April, pupils from Year 6 went to Parochial's school to play the final round of their East League fixtures. If Fellside won every game they would win the whole tournament, then going on to face the winner of the West League. In their first match they beat Parochial 2-0 with Dan Hand scoring a tap in after a brilliant pass from fellow striker Harry Sharpe. This turned out to be the fastest goal of the tournament - only 18 seconds! Fellside then comfortably won their next four games. In the final and deciding match of the tournament, it was Fellside against arch enemys - Front Street. It was deadlock until Alistair Thom scored a wonder goal (which was from his own half) that soared over everyone and ended up in the back of the net! Fellside had won! We now go on to face the winner of the West League. I would like to thank, on behalf of the successful team, Mr.Machin for taking us in his own time.

Top reporting Dan! Well done to the whole squad - a fantastic effort. Can't wait for the final! Ali's winning goal was like watching David Beckham!
