What a superb turnout on Saturday 13th June with at least eighty children and adults taking part in our ninth Pedalling Picnic. With a choice of two rides of four or ten miles the majority of children took the longer option and of those on the shorter route (still four miles!) most were in their first year of cycling.
Long route or short, it's clear that the impact of training through our involvement in the Bike it scheme has greatly improve confidence and competence on bikes.
A memorable morning and the best attended to date. The weather was kind too. Thanks to all who took part and particular thanks to Gary Haley for his organisation of yet another successful event.
