Year 6 have just returned from a fantastic three days at the Robinwood Centre, Alston. They have been challenged, encouraged, covered in mud and wet, but have thoroughly enjoyed every single minute! A huge thanks must go to all the staff at the centre, they were friendly, kind, helpful and ensured that the safety of every child was paramount.
It's no good you can't avoid the mud!!!
The children had the opportunity to take part in the following activities:
Climbing, Ropes course, Zip wire, Piranha pool, Caving,
Orienteering, Night Line, Trapeze, Orienteering, Problem solving,
Archery, Obstacle course, Giant swing, Team challenge.
The most important aspect of all of the activities was that of teamwork, they supported and encouraged each other tremendously. They were a credit to our school, their behaviour was superb during the entire visit, they certainly are a group to be proud of.
